In sql Query we can use (TOP  LIMIT, ROWNUM )

what is purpose of TOP, LIMIT, ROWNUM Query

According to w3schools.com, SQL uses TOP, MySQL uses LIMIT and Oracle uses ROWNUM
to limit how many records you get from database.
